The winter 2016 collection was called "Ode to Nova Scotia," RESPECT NATURE by keikaikoadesigns.com It only feels like that because we were going through some upheaval in our personal lives. This year for 2018 we are calling our collection "RESPECT" this will be about respecting each other as human beings. That no matter what may be the color of your skin, sexual orientation, who you worship and what your gender is, this demands respect, compassion, and understanding.  That we are all connected, and we must unite for a better community and life for our future generation. Summer has come and gone!!!

KeiKaiKoa Models were an amazing bunch of women, some were mothers, wives, sisters, cousins, friends and artists. I cannot thank them enough for a job well done. You may look at them and think they must be so special and to me they certainly are. But they are regular women just like the rest of us. They have their insecurities and judgments on themselves. They are vulnerable and fragile but they all have one thing in common, "self respect" and taking care of their bodies is priority. You can find these ladies regularly at the gym or belong to a team sport. This gives these ladies self esteem, confidence and lets face it a rocking "bikini body". How do you get that bikini body? What is a prank phone call?

But do you see that they are children and innocent in the ways of the world?  They are sweet loving children even our dog is terrific, and I am not just saying that because they are mine. They don't belong to me but they belong to themselves, I always say they belong to me, but really they are not things to be owned. They are my heart and my everything. A few years after this photo is now my daughter attending a different school in the new institution we call junior high. My husband and I are away for our trip to celebrate our 19 years of being together as a couple. We arrive from our trip in the middle of the night, and the children happen to be staying with our family. I sneak in beside my daughter and fall asleep beside her, and within a few minutes of snuggling close to her, I notice she is shivering. Sounds came out of her that I had ...
