The winter 2016 collection was called "Ode to Nova Scotia," RESPECT NATURE by keikaikoadesigns.com It only feels like that because we were going through some upheaval in our personal lives. This year for 2018 we are calling our collection "RESPECT" this will be about respecting each other as human beings. That no matter what may be the color of your skin, sexual orientation, who you worship and what your gender is, this demands respect, compassion, and understanding.  That we are all connected, and we must unite for a better community and life for our future generation. Julia Manson Cheng " bottoms Up" !!!

Here are 2 of my favorite exercises for a tight, toned bottom! Squat + Rear Leg Lift:  Stand with legs hip-width apart, toes forward. Slowly lower into squat with tall spine, weight in  the heels & knees behind shoe laces, without knees moving past 90 degree angle. Rise up and  lift one leg back, squeezing the buttocks tight and flexing the foot. Return to squat & repeat  other side Plie Squat + Side Leg Lift: Stand with legs wider than shoulder-width, erect spine, toes pointed to corners of the room.  Sink into a deep squat keeping knees in same direction as toes (watch out for knees moving  inward). Rise up and lift one leg to side and slightly behind with foot flexed. Think about lifting  back to the corner of the room instead of directly out to the side in order to target the smaller  gluteal muscles in the outer hip. Return to plies & repeat other side. Who is Dee Wilkie "Surface Designer" ?

I first had the pleasure of meeting Dee at the Atlantic Fashion Show last year (2015). I was intrigued with her creations as she is a surface designer and having represented various wall paper designs years ago, I wanted to know more about what she did and how she came about it. Surface designer? When you see art everywhere on wall paper or textiles (pillows, bedsheets, repetitive illustration on cards, even temporary tattoos...)
